We Are Ken Taylor Ambassadors
Continuing the Terry Fox Legacy
Over the last two days our class have been great Ambassadors, carrying on the legacy of a great Canadian: Terry Fox. Although Terry Fox never had the chance to finish his marathon, each year across our entire country his marathon of hope continues. We continued this tradition at Ken Taylor School this week.
Orange Shirt Day
To recognize Orange Shirt Day our class learned about the First Nation tradition of a sharing circle. As a class we learned about how we all matter because we all belong. Each person in our class shared with one another what groups they belong to. These groups may include a family, a school, a class, a mosque or church, a sports team, a club, or a neighbourhood.
