Welcome to Kindergarten at Kenneth D. Taylor School!
It has been a joy getting to know one another over the last couple of weeks. The first few weeks of school are a time of adjustment as students and teachers get familiar with their space and start to make it their own. Our little 4 and 5 year olds are already starting to make their mark in our classroom and school as they learn how to be Ken Taylor Ambassadors.
This blog will act as a communication piece between teacher and parent, teacher and student and student and parent. You will get notifications through this blog about upcoming events and activities, as well as our day to day information. You will also have this a glance into your child's classroom and observe what they are working on and what we are doing in our class. Pictures can be a great way for you and your child to have conversations about what they are doing and learning in class.
I plan to post on the blog, sharing class activities 2-3 times a week, and will use this as an agenda for daily messages to parents (when needed). Please get into the habit of looking at the blog everyday to ensure you do not miss out on important information about our class.
