An apple a day!

Students have been learning about our senses. Today we put our senses to the test as we looked at the amazing apple. Students put their scientific minds to use as we drew a diagram of the parts of an apple. We will later compare this to the parts of a pumpkin. Here is what a few of us had to say....
The way they grow. – Rowlland
The apple seeds are black and the pumpkin seeds are white.- Zayden
Pumpkin is bigger and the apple is smaller.-Layla
Cause on top is small and one top is big.- Zalaan
The apple is flat and the pumpkin is bumpy.- Gavin 

How are apple and pumpkins the same?
Because they both have stems.- Emily

My apple tasted like apple juice. –Faeza

I can hear a crunch and it make  a crunch when we eat it.- Jacob
