Exploring Fall

Today we explored "Fall" items found from our community walk last Friday. Students observed the items up close with magnifying glasses and chose one or two items to sketch in their journals. 

As a class we completed a teacher directed art lesson creating a self portrait. We discussed the differences between stickmen, head people and proper body form and had a laugh at the absurdity of stickmen and head people. 

Reminder: AM Kindergarten this Friday. We are going on our Fall Walk. It looks like we will have low temperatures and possibly some snow showers. Please dress for the weather. 
This Friday is also Healthy Hunger Fun Lunch for those who signed up and made orders online.
