Learning to draw a pumpkin

Today and last Friday we joined with Mrs. Steckley's class to examine pumpkins. Student's had an opportunity to discuss with other schoolmates comparing the different types of pumpkins we have in our classes. Students shared how they "saw" the pumpkins using their 5 senses.

What did you feel about the pumpkins?

“A little bit bumpy on the sides” -Tarun

"They feel cold” - Gwyneth

"They were both baby pumpkins and they both had lines. White lines and orange lines. It smelt like vanilla." - Zayden

“Felt smooth and soft." - Layla

"It kinda felt like a helicopter." - Mayu

"The lines felt bumpy." - Madlin
