On Tuesday many students dressed up to celebrate Halloween. We had princesses and super heroes galore. The students enjoyed sorting pumpkins by size (small, medium and big) and parading around the school showing off their costumes.
On Wednesday we focused on the alphabet. Students sorted the letters that have holes in them and those that don't, matched different uppercase and lowercase letters, made names and words using stamps and even swatted letters for our fly swatter letter search game.
Just a reminder that student photo orders can be returned if you wish to purchase them.
If you are sending anything to school that needs to be handed in, please remind your child to give it to hand it in when they get to school. This way we don't get in the habit of going through backpacks. Notes in their lunch kits, reminding them (or me) that they have forms or orders is also a good reminder.
This Friday is a PM Kindergarten Day!
