If you have not subscribed to receive school messenger emails from the school (not classroom messages from our class) then you are not receiving important information about our school. Please look at the information below and subscribe if you have not yet done so. Thank you!

We have been learning about our numbers in class. Today we discussed the number one and discovered there are many ways to represent the number one. These include the numeric number: 1, the word number: one, the tally: l, as well as picture numbers like using objects or tens frames.
Students played a dice game with a partner to create different Lego people, and some even challenged a partner to a "dice-off" (who can roll all the numbers of a dice first).
We also discussed the colder weather and how it is important to dress appropriately for the weather. Along with snow pants, boots and a jacket, we discussed and played a game to remember about gloves, toques, socks and sometimes scarves. Please help your child remember to dress for the weather.

Thank you to all the families that came out to our Student-led Conferences. Your children were fabulous teachers sharing their learning with you. They were so proud of the learning they have done this year, and I hope you are proud of them too. Please return the Two Stars and a Wish you received on the back of the passport.
