So we didn't get to go on our Spring Walk to the playground today as the freezing rain made the sidewalks a little too unsafe and slippery. Thanks to all the students and parent volunteers for understanding and being so flexible.
Today students were invited to wear a jersey to show support for the victims and survivors of the Humbolt Bronco's Hockey team. We discussed why some of us were wearing jersey's and how it is important help people and feel empathy when they feel sad.
We have been reading "The very Hungry Caterpillar," by Eric Carle. Students have been creating their own caterpillar to help them retell their own version of the story.
