Dear Parents/Guardians:
Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating with us for this Thursday's field trip. I have been holding off hoping it would improve, but the weather network continues to forecast even colder weather. As a result we will not be going on our Spring Walk this Thursday. Instead we will plan to go the following week and hope that the weather forecast continues to be more promising.
We will now be going on our Spring Walk on Thursday April 12.
Our kindergarten classes will be participating in a Spring Community Walk. The purpose of this walk is to learn about Evanston, explore a community playground and observe seasonal changes. We will be going to the park/playground just south of our school on Evansmeade Circle.
The AM class Spring Walk will take place on Thursday, April 12 from 8:15- 9:30 am (approximately)
The PM class Spring Walk will take place on Thursday, April 12 from 12:05-1:20 pm (approximately)
Please dress your child according to the weather conditions of the day.
In order to go on this nature walk, we require parent volunteers to accompany us. All volunteers at any CBE schools must have completed and cleared a police security clearance screen prior to volunteering.
If you are able to volunteer and have a completed police clearance, please reply to this email to inform your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
